Plenty of organisations use Slides internally and PowerPoint for clients. We can design both templates together from one set of layouts, so a deck looks the same whichever tool a colleague happened to open that morning, and nobody has to rebuild slides by hand.
Google Slides design
Built for teams who edit together.
Our Google Slides design gives your team a branded theme they can edit together in any browser, with layouts for every slide they need.

Who it’s for
Who is Google Slides design for?
Teams that work in Google Workspace: schools, charities, start-ups and companies where several people build one deck at once. Slides suits them because there is nothing to install, every edit saves itself and comments sit right beside the slide.
The catch is that most decks begin from a stock theme and drift from there. A proper theme, made in the theme builder, fixes that at the source.
Included
What your Slides theme includes
- Theme and layoutsBuilt in the theme builder, so every new slide starts from a branded layout with placeholders.
- Theme coloursYour palette set as the theme’s text and accent colours, picked up by charts, shapes and links.
- Fonts from Google FontsYour brand font if the library has it, or the closest match, since Slides can’t load uploaded fonts.
- Linked chartsCharts that update from a Google Sheet, so the figures in the deck stay current.
- A copy linkA share link that gives each person their own copy, so the master stays clean.
Moving from PowerPoint
What changes when a deck moves to Slides?
| Element | In Google Slides |
|---|---|
| Fonts | Swapped for a Google Font unless the same family is available |
| Animation | Simple transitions and entrances only; complex effects are dropped or simplified |
| SmartArt | Arrives as fixed shapes or a picture rather than an editable diagram |
| Slide size | 16:9 by default, 10 × 5.625 in, with custom sizes possible |
| Masters and layouts | Best rebuilt in the theme builder rather than imported |

Questions about Google Slides design

Ask a questionCan we use our brand font in Google Slides?
Only if it is in the Google Fonts library, because Slides can’t install fonts you upload. A great many brand typefaces are there, Inter among them. If yours isn’t, we pick the closest Google Font for the theme and keep your brand font for printed and designed pieces, so the difference stays small.
How do we make the template available to everyone?
Share it with a link that forces a copy, so each person gets a fresh deck and nobody edits the master. Organisations on certain Google Workspace plans can also add it to the template gallery, where it appears whenever anyone starts a new presentation.
Can you convert our PowerPoint template to Google Slides?
Yes, though we rebuild rather than import. A straight import usually brings across how the slides look but not a working theme, so layouts and placeholders misbehave. We recreate the theme and its layouts in Slides, keeping your design as close as the fonts and features allow.
How much does a Google Slides template cost?
It turns on how many layouts you need, any custom charts or diagrams, and how many existing decks need moving onto it. A theme for one team with a dozen layouts is a modest job; a set for several departments with sample decks takes longer. The fixed quote shows each part on its own line.

Book your Google Slides design
Let us know how many people will use the template, the kinds of slides they make most and which Google Workspace plan you have. A link to a current deck helps too. Once the fixed price is agreed, your Google Slides design takes shape in the theme builder.
