Size guides, honest specifications and prices people can trust do more for an online shop than any banner. We plan them from your own product data, so nothing is made up. You check the whole shop on a private link, on your own phone, before it opens.

The client and the brief
What did Beacon Lighting ask for?
Beacon Lighting is a new Zimbabwean lighting brand with a showroom in Bulawayo. It needed a shop that could carry a full catalogue, show real prices in US dollars and sell to people who plan around power cuts.
We built the store from the client’s own price list, so every product carries its list code and a fixed price. Nothing on the site is invented: where a detail was missing from the client’s answers, we left it out rather than writing a sample. The logo stayed exactly as supplied, and the site takes its amber and teal from it.
The shop went live on 14 October 2026, with courier delivery across Zimbabwe or collection from the showroom.
What we made
Ecommerce website design for 2,503 products
Dark where light needs darkness, light where people read prices and specifications. Every page was checked on screens from a small phone to a wide monitor.

Seven lights from the range hang over the home page, each with its own warm glow.
Slide from warm to cool to see the room change, so colour temperature makes sense at a glance.
The bulb finder matches the cap on an old bulb to every light that takes it.
The room calculator turns a room’s size into lumens, watts and a sensible pendant diameter.
Each size guide is drawn to scale from the listed measurements, beside a 1.75 m person.
Details worth seeing
What makes the shop easy to buy from?
Buying a light online is mostly guesswork about size, brightness and fit. These four details take the guesswork away.
Power
A power-cut range up front
Solar and rechargeable lights have their own collection and their own place on the home page, so people shopping for the next power cut find them first.
US$
Real prices, in dollars
Every product shows the client’s own US dollar price. Customers can pay with mobile money or card at checkout, or in cash when they collect from the showroom.
Specs
Specifications explained
Short notes explain colour temperature, lumens, bulb type and IP rating where they appear. Any product prints as a tidy spec sheet or saves as a PDF.
Trade
Project quotes
Trade customers can send a whole bag or wishlist as a quote request, which goes straight to the trade inbox. A lighting design service has its own page.
