Fans and bookers judge a promoter by its site before they buy a ticket or sign a contract. We build around your best footage and your real line-ups, and make every enquiry easy to send from a phone. You see it all on a private link first.
Roar Entertainment
A stage for world stars in Africa.
We designed and built the website for Roar Entertainment, a promoter that brings world stars to African audiences and books them for private events.

The client and the brief
Who is Roar Entertainment?
Roar books international artists for African stages and puts on the shows around them, from Rick Ross at the HICC in Harare to a celebration for BET Awards nominees on a Los Angeles rooftop. It also books artists for private events, and it is part of the Roar Group, which consults in trucking, mining and commodity trading.
The brief was a site that feels like the night itself and works best on a phone. Every enquiry had to reach the right office quickly, by WhatsApp or email.
We wrote the copy in plain British English and used only facts that Roar’s own channels and the press confirm. A show that was cancelled never appears.
What we made
An entertainment website design built like a gig poster
Seven pages: Shows, Watch, Booking, Consulting, About and Contact, plus a home page that opens on a packed concert hall.

The home page opens on a full-resolution still from one of Roar’s own concert videos.
The bill so far: every headliner set like a printed poster, each name opening the night they played.
Shows filter by type, from concerts to private events, with the line-up, details and footage inside each one.
The Consulting page plots each office on a dotted world map, joined by red arcs.
Details worth seeing
What makes it feel like a Roar night?
A promoter’s site has to look as good as the show. These are the choices that do the work.
- Stills from the promoter’s own footageThe sharpest photos are frames taken from Roar’s concert videos at full resolution, cropped clear of the watermark.
- Red only for the lionA black stage, bone-coloured type, and Roar red kept for the logo and a few small marks, so colour never shouts over the artists.
- One typeface, stretchedA single family whose width changes: wide and heavy for headlines, normal for reading, capitals only for the bill.
- A WhatsApp line for each officeVisitors pick the line closest to them and see its local time, so they know when to expect a reply.
- A map drawn from real coastlinesAfrica sits a shade brighter, and on phones the map zooms in so every office name stays readable.
- Motion that knows when to stopEvery animation switches off for visitors who have asked their phone to reduce motion.
