Process

How a company profile comes together

  1. Gather

You send what exists: an old profile, registration papers, certificates and project photos.

  2. Plan the pages

A page plan that puts the evidence your buyers care about first.

  3. Write and design

Copy and layout develop together, so every page has room for what it must say.

  4. Proof and deliver

You check the facts on a proof, then receive an interactive PDF and a print file with bleed.

Ask a question

What length should a company profile be?

As long as your evidence fills, and no longer. Our profiles for Troda, a safety and security supplier, and Mrala Enterprise, a multi-sector contractor, run to 20 and 18 pages. A young business may need far fewer. Buyers skim, so every page must earn its place.

Should a company profile be a PDF or printed?

Usually both. The PDF gets emailed and uploaded to tender portals, so it needs working links and a file size that won’t bounce. The printed copy is for meetings, site visits and hand-delivered bids. We set up each version properly rather than printing the screen file.

How often should we update our profile?

Whenever a fact a buyer relies on changes: a new certificate, a major project, a new director. In South Africa, B-BBEE certificates are valid for twelve months, so a profile that quotes your level needs a yearly update at least. An editable template makes that quick.

What affects the cost of company profile design?

Page count and writing matter most. A profile built from text you supply costs less than one we write from an interview. Diagrams, maps, extra projects and tailored versions for different sectors add to it. Every part is itemised in your fixed quote.

Bidding for a specific contract?

A general profile is a good start, but tenders reward documents shaped to their criteria. Our tender company profiles follow the evaluation and the returnables list. Bidding in America? Government buyers there expect a capability statement instead.
